My career started in communications advising clients in the entertainment-, movie-, gaming industry and fast-moving consumer goods. I then moved forward as a Communications Officer for the TV channels Fox and Fox Kids. I was responsible for the positioning of the tv channels in the Dutch media landscape, for their external communications, their press office and talent management.
In 2001 I co-founded the international communications agency Linden & Barbosa and was the managing partner until 2020. I advised more than 150 brands in business services, lifestyle, entertainment, tourism, health, digital start-ups and food and led a creative and engaging workforce of approximately 20 – 25 staff members. I was responsible for the positioning, – communication- and brand strategies and assisting in the implementation. Ranging from (international) brand, product and service introductions. I advised in the execution of the communication strategy, content strategy, PR, media relations, crisis communication, as well as in the communication of organizational changes, company culture and in CEO profiling.
Today I work as an independent business- and communication advisor on behalf of small brands with big ambitions, growth companies, corporates, at a boardroom level and as a sparring partner for management teams of well-known and lesser-known brands.
